Data Analyst

I’m currently recruiting a Data Analyst based in Dublin. This is an initial 6-month contract, focusing on hybrid working. Strong day rate available.

About the Role

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Visualisation teams to maximise the value of available data.
• Support data governance, management and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, including querying, data manipulation, mining and segmentation.
• Good understanding of databases, data structures and data modelling.
• Strong knowledge of BI principles and analytical best practices.

Desirable

• Experience within financial services or insurance.
• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning or AI-driven analytics.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and taking ownership of analytical projects.
